Introduction
 
A RSS document is an XML file with the global container tag "RSS."  Each RSS document must contain at least one channel.  A channell is a website that provided the syndicated information.  Finally, each channel must contain a minimum of one item, or articles.  These are articales that are from the same site as the originating RSS document specifies.
  • This lesson will take about 20 - 30 minutes
  • The presentation consists of 10 slides

 

Objectives

 

  • Given the information in the presentation, identify the two main tags of an RSS document, by completing the post quiz
  • Given the information in the presentation, identify the four main tags of an RSS channel, by completing the post quiz
  • Given the information in the presentation, identify the three main tags of an RSS item, by completing the post quiz
  • Given the information in the presentation, identify the proper usage of RSS tags, by completing the post quiz
